Deception and theft
BEWARE OF LAUREN BENSON INC./RICHARD BENSON I sent a check to Richard Benson for some minor n foreign coins. I never received the coins. Despite my emails and multiple telephone calls, I never even received the courtesy of a reply. Save yourself your stress and aggravation, and do not deal with Benson. As follows is my email sent to him. Of course, once again there was no response. Dear Richard, Some weeks ago, I sent you a check for $19.35 for the coins listed below. To date, I have neither received the coins, nor any reply from my email to you 2 weeks ago. I do not believe Lauren would approve of your 'customer service" in my regard. In over 60 years of collecting this is the very first time I have paid for coins not delivered. In addition to my email sent, I have tried calling many times. You do not even have an answering machine? I also think it is unreasonable to charge $8 shipping for an $11 order. Seven minor coins could easily be sent in a mailer. I do not appreciate my time being wasted for a simple order. Either return my check to me, or send the coins I paid for within 7 days. Should you not comply. I will pursue other courses of action which will prove both damaging, and detrimental to your business. Tony Raymond
