Does it cost anything?
No. Requesting offers is free and Goldiew takes no cut of your sale. The transaction happens directly between you and the buyer you choose.
Who sees my request?
Only businesses that claimed and verified their Goldiew profile. They see your item description, your city and your photos. Your name and email stay hidden until you accept an offer.
How many offers will I get?
It depends on your items and your area. Requests go to up to 15 verified buyers, they have a few days to answer, and we email you as offers come in. Clear photos and a precise description noticeably increase both the number and the quality of offers.
Is the offer amount guaranteed?
An offer is made from your description and photos, so a buyer may adjust after inspecting the items in person. Most sales are completed at the buyer’s store: they verify your items and you agree on the final amount together. Small adjustments for real differences are normal; buyers know that sellers rate the experience afterwards, and unexplained drops damage their reputation on Goldiew.
Is it safe to sell this way?
Safer than answering classified ads: you deal with established businesses that have a public page, a rating and customer reviews. Nearly all sales are completed in person at the buyer’s store. Only consider mail-in with an established buyer whose insured, tracked kit and return terms you have checked yourself.
What should my photos show?
The items themselves, hallmarks or stamps if visible, and anything that shows condition: capsules, certificates, original boxes. Leave out faces and documents with personal details. Location data is removed from every photo automatically.
Do I have to accept an offer?
No. Offers expire on their own if you ignore them, and your request closes after 14 days. Nothing is ever sold without you accepting an offer.
What if something goes wrong?
Tell us at [email protected]. A buyer who fails to honor an offer or behaves improperly can be suspended from Get Offers, and your review of the experience stays on their public page for every future customer to see. Keep the transaction itself safe too: hand over items at the store, or use the buyer’s insured and tracked shipping for mail-in, and agree on payment before parting with your items. Goldiew vets who can participate and moderates every request, but the sale is a direct agreement between you and the buyer.
