Unexpected Markups, Failed Liquidation, and Ongoing Concerns
I initially requested bullion but was aggressively steered to purchase rare coins instead, with representations that they would provide better safety and returns. When I later attempted to sell some of my coins and requested their value, I was offered a loan instead of being able to proceed with a direct sale. I declined the loan and continued requesting liquidation and valuation of the coins, but experienced repeated delays over approximately 12 weeks in obtaining this information. After these delays, I had my coins evaluated by a third party and found what I believe to be excessive markups. The coins are worth significantly less than what I paid, despite the representations made regarding safety and returns. Since my purchase, gold prices have increased approximately 3X, yet I have been unable to recover anywhere near what I paid when attempting to liquidate the coins. I have preserved extensive documentation of these interactions, including emails, text messages, and recorded phone conversations, and I am currently pursuing legal action.
