honest and straightforward coin shop with friendly staff

The shop has a low-key, kind of forgettable vibe but somehow still manages to leave a good impression. The staff was friendly and seemed knowledgeable about the coins I brought in for appraisal. Prices felt fair, though there wasn't much buzz or excitement like you'd find at more flashy places. It’s not a place that stands out with big displays or elaborate décor; it's pretty straightforward which can be refreshing if you're just looking for honest service without any fuss. My transaction went smoothly and I left feeling satisfied enough to recommend it for anyone wanting simple coin dealings somewhere unpretentious yet reliable.

lovely old-world charm with room for a bit more patience

There’s a certain old-world vibe to this place that I find quite nostalgic. The staff seem knowledgeable and genuinely interested in sharing their collection. That said, the experience felt a bit rushed at times, leaving me with questions about some of the coins I was looking at. Prices seemed fair but not exceptional for rare finds or high-value items. It’s clear they take trust seriously, which is comforting when dealing with valuable collectibles like coins. Overall, it has its charm and good intentions behind it; just wish there was more patience during consultations to help collectors feel truly confident before making decisions altogether better refreshments coming next time perhaps would add an extra touch of welcoming atmosphere for regular visitors like myself
